Mahindra Verito, the sedan was recently caught on lenses while going through test runs in Nasik. From the looks of the camouflaged car, it seems that Mahindra has given it a mid-life makeover rather than transforming it into a sub-four meter saloon. Verito was a product of the Mahindra-Renault JV, but after the French and the Indian company parted Verito earlier known as Logan went to Mahindra & Mahindra and was re-badged as Verito. Mahindra is going to add new life to this fast aging bland car The facelift version will come with an all new front grille surrounded by a chrome strip, re- touched front bumper and fog lamp placement.
The B-pillars are now black with the outside rear view mirrors getting new mountings. As for the rear end, the tail lamps and bumper are slightly retuned and the number plate has found a new housing, i.e. the refreshed bootlid. The interiors changes are still hazy but the market expects that the mechanicals will be the same and the high performing diesel engine will be retained with the spacious interiors and efficient dynamics. Mahindra introduced a refreshed Verito last year only with design trims and now with the mid-life facelift, it seems that the Indian auto major is only purchasing time until it rolls out the sub-four meter saloon. The launch of the revamped Verito is expected soon.
