It has been quite sometime when the facelift stories about Mahindra Bolero were around. Rumor has it that the home grown Indian car maker Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to come up with the facelift version of its popular MUV Mahindar Bolero . It is expected that the Indian SUV maker will launch the new Bolero soon with a new price tag.

Speculations are high that the new Bolero MUV has a complete front makeover. The front grill has been revised aggressively giving the new MUV car a stylish look. The grill also has been colored grey contrary to the existing version of Bolero that has body colored grill. It is also anticipated that Mahindra and Mahindra is going to add a new variant named ZLX to the line up of the MUV. The front bumper design has also been revised apart from addition of rear wiper and a defroster in order to step up the features in the MUV. With such features, the new Bolero MUV will fully comply with the Motor Vehicle Rules.

The changes are more significant inside than outside. The plastics inside now come in all new beige and the new Bolero also comes with all digital instrument console. The speedometer, fuel meter and engine indicator all have a LED display. In order to give it a premium look, the steering wheel has also been wrapped in leather and there are aluminum inserts on it. The central console also has wood inserts. Meanwhile, the overall quality of the plastics inside is quite similar to the existing Bolero which the Bolero users have heavily censured. The under the hood configuration of the new Bolero remains the same with a 75bhp Common Rail engine that it inherited from Scorpio EX.
